I-Maximum is the exclusive representative of the German company Scharr Tec in Poland for Biomethane Enrichment Systems and gas mixers. The PROLIMIX® system technology from SCHARR TEC enhances biomethane by increasing its heating value by adding gas propane (LPG). The PROLIMIX® mixer allows for the injection of liquid propane into the biomethane - is propane liquid mixer. The propane injection mixing system is completely different from the automatic sng mixer. In the nozzle head, propane is dispersed through numerous nozzles, creating an aerosol that evaporates by absorbing heat from the biomethane. At this stage, effective mixing of propane with biomethane has already occurred. The gas mixture is further blended in the liquid propane injection system in the subsequent stage through precise directing and turbulence at a temperature of +45 °C
Additionally, we offer installations that can mix up to four gases simultaneously (biogas, NG, hydrogen, natural gas, LPG, CO₂), allowing for the maintenance of both the energy value (heating value) of the gas fuel and the percentage content of each gas in the gas mixture at a specified level.

MAIN ELEMENTS OF BIOMETHANE ENRICHMENT
Extensive safety equipment and modern mixing technology: nozzle head with propane flow measurement and control valve.
At the mixer outlet, a condensate separator with a liquid detector ensures that in the event of an overdose (e.g. due to a failure of the measuring system) no liquid propane enters the downstream pipe system.
Pressure and temperature are also monitored: if limit values are exceeded or not reached, propane injection is immediately switched off.
The PROLIMIX® system is standardly supplied for biomethane flows of 350, 700 and 1200 Nm³/h. Special designs for different pressure and flow rates are also possible.

I-MAXIMUM on biomethane enrichment technologies in the Polish journal "Gas Overview"
The development of the biomethane market in Poland is crucial for ensuring energy independence, leveraging the vast potential of domestic resources, including biomass.
In the journal "Przegląd Gazowniczy" of the Polish Chamber of Gas Industry (IGG) (pp. 60-61), we presented how the enrichment of biomethane impacts the growth of the biogas and biomethane markets and facilitates the connection of biogas plants to the gas grid.
Biogas plants are planning to produce biomethane with the intention of introducing it into the gas transmission network. Consequently, there are certain restrictions regarding connections to gas network operators (such as PSG, Gas-System, etc.). One of the unresolved issues is the inconsistency of the heating value of biomethane with the requirements for natural gas in the network.
Many biogas plants fall short by 3-5% of the required heating value of biomethane in a given ORCS (Heating Value Settlement Area).
